Walk off the Earth

I will start by saying if you have not listened to or seen “Walk off the Earth” live before then I recommend checking out their show. The show was a very fun and joyful concert experience. The group brings humor, talent, musical harmony and creativity to their shows. The stage was filled with all sorts of instruments and each one was utilized and played in harmony with each other. The first time I heard the group was when their song “Rule the World” came on while I was listening to a mix of songs on YouTube. I really liked the song and decided to look more into the group and their style of music. I then came across their amazing and very creative cover of Goyte’s hit song “Somebody I used to know”. Watch the incredible video below.

I covered their tour stop in Raleigh NC at the Ritz. The group came out in full force with excitement, harmony and just gave a great performance. I was blown away watching them engage with the crowd as they sang these incredibly catching songs. My fellow photographer and editor friend of http://www.immusicmag.com/ got the chance to interview them before their show in Raleigh. He said they were really nice, kind and very down to earth artists. If you want to check out his interview check out there website at the link above. The group is best known for some of their amazing covers and have over 3.2 million subscribers on their Youtube channel. Check out their creative and artistically represented covers at https://www.youtube.com/user/walkofftheearth/featured
Though their covers are amazing and very well put together the group also has a talent for writing and creating their own music. The group is able to bring in and implement various instruments and have their vocals harmonize with each note. The group consist of Sarah Blackwood, Gianni Nicassio, Ryan Marshall, Mike Taylor and Joel Cassady. Each member of the group has an integral part in the creation of the music as well as their on stage presence. You can see why they are loved and cherished by their fans. This group has grown into a larger then life music experience and creative powerhouse. They mix stylized beats and rhythms with lyrics which engulf varying emotional touchstones that let the listener in and feel at home.
